Today I had some business to attend to for which I had to go to Praram Ched’s bridge. Crossing the bridge to Charan Road, seeing Chaow Praya river I felt like going closer to the coast.

I finished my business before getting dark. My motto is ‘One can always travel, don’t have to wait for a day off’. Then I found a parking spot.
‘ How could I stand closer to the coast?’ I asked an old woman who lives there.
‘ Would you like to cross to another coast?’ she asked me. So this meant there would be ports surely.
‘ I would like to see only the river’, I answered her.
She told me the way with a confused face. Maybe she thought that I’d never seen a river.

It was a port of Wat Chat Kaew Chong Konni. I had to walk through the temple and through a community before arriving at the port. At the temple there are very beautiful stupas.

It is a stupa which is built in Ratanakosin era. It is almost the same time as a stupa of Wat Arun. It is a small stupa, very beautiful and there are many details that we should be proud of. There are many Buddha images on all four sides of the stupa.
